Pay-What-You-Can seats are not available to purchase online.  We will make every effort to keep a select number of pay-what-you-can seats available at the door, HOWEVER, we reserve the right to release pay-what-you-can-seats for general sale online in the event of a sold-out show. They are CASH ONLY and first-come, first-serve and limited to availability.

An immersive experience inspired by the classic short story and devised by the company. A desperate woman attempts to escape her stifling reality surrounded by haunting yellow wallpaper. This adaptation explores the classic tale for a modern audience through movement, puppetry, and prose.

PLEASE NOTE: This production is immersive. In order to give you the best experience, this means the number of chairs will be limited in each performance. We encourage you to explore the space and to move around. We ask that you please observe “subway etiquette” when occupying a seat, meaning please only use a chair if you require it for mobility or health reasons.

If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected].

Thank you to our community partner, the Maine Irish Heritage Center.

By purchasing a ticket, you consent to release Bare Portland or any agent thereof from any liability for injury or damage to or loss of possessions caused by acts or omissions related to any activities in connection with the event.
